An employer is looking for an Insider Threat Analyst to sit in Alexandria, VA. This candidate will be joining a team of 6 other analyst on site at the Mark Center. This person will be responsible for triage, analyze, and assess alerts, document and report findings through a case management system. Information is further shared with impacted parties for follow-on analysis.

The Insider Threat/ UAM team continually deploys, maintains, and tunes countermeasures in response to new or changing insider threat tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs). Must Haves:

• Active Top Secret/SCI.

• Bachelor's degree and 8 years of directly relevant, professional experience; additional related years of experience is accepted in lieu of a degree

• IAT Level II
• At least 1 year of incident response experience

• At least 1 year of UAM or insider threat detection experience

• Demonstrated experience with UAM capabilities and common insider threat TTPs.

• Demonstrated knowledge of network traffic and communications, including known ports and services.

• Demonstrated experience in coordinating with external organizations, especially Law Enforcement and Counter Intelligence

• Knowledge of incident handling procedures. Plusses:

• Understanding of core current cybersecurity technologies as well as emerging capabilities.

• Demonstrated experience with the Windows operating system and other operating systems (e.g., Linux or Unix).

• Familiarity or experience in Intelligence Driven Defense, Cyber Kill Chain methodology, and/or MITRE ATT&CK framework. Compensation:
$67.31/hr to $72.11/hr exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
