Compliance & Risk Specialist
Pro Sidian invites experienced professionals to support compliance and risk initiatives for the Human Capital programs of the National Science Foundation (NSF) and related federal agencies. The position is a management‑level, exempt W2 professional based in the Mid Atlantic Region (hybrid in Alexandria, VA). The role aligns with GSA Labor Category:
Management Consultant.
Provide services and support as a Compliance & Risk Specialist focusing on Human Capital solutions for federal science agency clients. Deliver innovative solutions that improve operational efficiency through digital transformation, process automation, and advanced analytics. Enable regulatory compliance with federal human capital management policies and cybersecurity standards.
Key Responsibilities- Enhance data‑driven decision‑making using role‑based advanced analytics and business intelligence.
- Support regulatory compliance and adherence to federal human capital management policies.
- Facilitate seamless integration of IT systems and workforce planning tools.
- Optimize service delivery through performance‑based outcomes and service level agreements.
- Ensure compliance with FISMA, FedRAMP, NIST 800‑53, Section 508, and federal data privacy mandates.
- Manage risk, support audits and reporting, and provide specialized functional support for cybersecurity & compliance.
Education/Experience
:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field; 5+ years of risk and compliance experience.
Skills
:
- Risk management and compliance expertise.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word), Adobe Acrobat, data analytic tools, and Visio.
