The role is a Workforce Analytics Data Scientist – Data Management & Business Intelligence (Job  NSF
0111111). The position is an exempt W2, no overtime, and is located in the Mid Atlantic Region with hybrid work at Alexandria, VA and other Mid Atlantic locations. The role supports federal science agencies, primarily NSF, as part of a Human Capital Analytics & IT Modernization effort.

• Deliver innovative data‑analytic solutions that improve operational efficiency through digital transformation and process automation.
• Enhance data‑driven decision‑making using role‑based advanced analytics and business intelligence.
• Support regulatory compliance and adherence to federal human capital management policies.
• Facilitate seamless integration of IT systems and workforce planning tools.
• Optimize service delivery through performance‑based outcomes and service level agreements.
• Provide consultative support for specialized workforce research and HR analytics.
• Analyze workforce data, build models, and support decisions.
• Develop workforce analytics models and insights for HR planning.
• Support predictive analysis, KPI design, and executive reporting using governed data and modern analytics tools.

• 5+ years of analytics experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Data, Analytics, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Strong analytical thinking and data modeling skills.
• Knowledge of project‑management methodologies and tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, time‑management, and prioritization skills.
• Experience in management and financial consulting, acquisition and grants management support, and business program and project‑management services.
• Understanding of federal policies related to human capital and workforce planning.
• U.S. citizenship required.
