Cyber Automation Engineering Lead

RiVidium is seeking a Cyber Automation Engineering Lead for its planned MODES III team supporting Military Community and Family Policy (MC&FP). This role encompasses IT, Cybersecurity, and Data Operations – Core Operations – and delivers mission‑focused outcomes for service members, families, and related stakeholders. The position is contingent upon contract award and is responsible for PWS

C.5.3.2 cybersecurity compliance, including privileged security oversight, RMF control validation, eMASS updates, ATO renewals, vulnerability remediation, and continuous monitoring to support a 24/7 operational posture.

• Lead the design and implementation of cybersecurity automation solutions that improve operational efficiency.
• Help streamline repetitive tasks, data handling, and operational workflows through secure automation.
• Coordinate with analysts and engineers to identify automation opportunities and integrate solutions.
• Maintain documentation and support continuous improvement of automation capabilities.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience.
• Relevant experience aligned to the role and labor category; openings may be filled at Lead (15+ years).
• Ability to satisfy applicable Government personnel security requirements for the assigned role. For IT and cybersecurity workforce positions, DoD 8140 training and certification requirements will apply upon award.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills in a mission‑focused delivery environment.
• Experience supporting cybersecurity operations, engineering, compliance, or analysis activities relevant to the role.

• Experience supporting AWS Gov Cloud, secure cloud operations, or mission‑critical enterprise systems.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery, change control, and evidence‑based reporting in Federal or DoD environments.
• Experience working in environments with cybersecurity, RMF, privacy, resilience, and continuous monitoring requirements.

Work is expected in the Alexandria, Virginia area, with on‑site support at the DoD Mark Center or other customer‑approved locations as required. Hybrid support may be arranged as necessary.
