Job Description
Pro Sidian seeks a Data Analyst (Reporting & Insights) to support State & Federal science agency human capital analytics and IT modernization. The role is a Mid‑Level Professional, Exempt W2, located in Alexandria, VA (Hybrid) and serves clients such as the National Science Foundation (NSF).
Job OverviewProvide services as a Data Analyst in the Government & Public Services sector, delivering automated reporting, self‑service analytics, and workforce planning solutions that enhance operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and data‑driven decision‑making.
Responsibilities and Duties- Develop and maintain automated reporting capabilities to support HR strategy and workforce planning.
- Enhance data‑driven decision‑making using role‑based advanced analytics and business intelligence.
- Support regulatory compliance and adherence to federal human‑capital management policies.
- Facilitate seamless integration of IT systems and workforce planning tools.
- Optimize service delivery through performance‑based outcomes and SLAs.
- Analyze datasets, produce insights, dashboards, and compliance evidence for NSF decision‑making.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Data, Analytics, or related field.
- 3–5 years of analytics experience, ideally in Government and Public Services sector.
Skills Required
- SQL and advanced analytical/reporting skills.
- Detail orientation and ability to produce accurate documentation and insights.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word) and data analytics tools.
- Experience with automated reporting and self‑service capabilities.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Project‑management methodology knowledge and strong time‑management skills.
Other Requirements
- Proficiency with business tools and technology; quick learner for new tools as needed.
- U.S. Citizenship required; no visa sponsorship.
- Background check and drug testing as required by Pro Sidian.
