Senior DevOps Engineer

The Leidos Spatial Solutions Division has an exciting opportunity for a senior Dev Ops Engineer to assist with the development, integration, deployment, and sustainment of mission‑critical systems that enable NGA's Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) mission collecting sciences, technology and tradecraft measuring and modeling the globe to provide three‑dimensional accuracy of every point in, on, or above the Earth. • Support the deployment of microservices via a Dev Sec Ops  pipeline within a Linux‑based multi‑tenant environment.
• Design, implement, and secure virtual networks within AWS.
• Implement VPC network connectivity.
• Diagnose and resolve VPC connectivity issues.
• Develop, update, and maintain Git Lab CI/CD pipeline code.
• Configure, troubleshoot, and deploy Docker containers.
• Review code within Git and extract/create engineering documentation as needed.
• Support developer deployments.
• Provide technical guidance for all capabilities/microservices.
• Support developer testing in the environment.
• Create and maintain Dev Ops documentation.
• Conduct security remediation as needed from scans.
• Other tasks as assigned.

• BS in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or closely related discipline with 8+ years of prior relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 6+ years of prior relevant experience.
• Active Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility and ability to obtain a polygraph after hire.
• U.S. citizenship.
• Proactive self‑starter with a positive, willing attitude and excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Understanding of custom code development and reviews.
• Experience with Git Lab functionality, error codes and scripting.
• Experience using AWS services and technologies (e.g., Cloud Formation, S3, ECS, EKS).
• Experience with AWS serverless architectures (Lambda, API Gateway, load balancing, autoscaling).
• Experience supporting development testing.
• Experience with cloud‑based architectures.
• Understanding of Dev Sec Ops  methodologies and workflow.
• Experience developing and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of software development and software sustainment practices.
• Team collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence).

• Active TS/SCI with polygraph.
• Experience with Git Lab CI/CD.
• Experience with AWS Lambda and AWS ECS.
• Experience troubleshooting, configuring, and deploying Docker containers.
• AWS certification (e.g., Dev Ops Engineer, Solutions Architect).
• Linux certifications.
• Experience with ArcGIS or geospatial technologies.
