Job DescriptionPro Sidian seeks a Business Process & Requirements Analyst / Data Management & Business Intelligence – Analytics Consulting & Business Needs Analysis (NSF
0132132) to support federal science agency HR modernization projects across the Mid‑Atlantic Region. The role aligns with GSA Labor Category:
Management Consultant and involves working in Alexandria, VA (hybrid) and on client sites.
- Deliver innovative solutions that improve operational efficiency through digital transformation and process automation.
- Enhance data‑driven decision‑making using role‑based advanced analytics and business intelligence.
- Support regulatory compliance and adherence to federal human capital management policies.
- Facilitate seamless integration of IT systems and workforce planning tools.
- Optimize service delivery through performance‑based outcomes and SLAs.
- Conduct systematic analysis of business needs across NSF divisions, including stakeholder interviews and process mapping.
- Translate stakeholder needs into flexible, role‑based analytics solutions such as dashboards, reports, and data products.
- Advise on prioritization of analytics initiatives, change management, and user adoption to ensure sustainability of analytics capabilities.
- Gather requirements, perform gap analysis, and produce technical specifications and documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field.
- 4–6 years of requirements analysis experience in a federal environment.
- Experience with business process modeling, requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder engagement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, Adobe Acrobat, Visio, and data‑analytic tools.
- Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail, problem‑solving ability, and adaptability to changing project requirements.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet project milestones.
- Knowledge of federal human capital policies and IT integration practices is a plus.
