• Expertise in Windows Systems:
  Serve as a seasoned expert with a strong background in installing, configuring, and administering Windows Servers and Windows operating systems. This role requires a deep understanding of Microsoft's operating systems, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and proficiency with other Microsoft Products. Additionally, a senior-level knowledge of TCP/IP network design and support, including proficiency with Cisco equipment, LAN and WLAN networks, routing, and sub-netting is essential.
• Systems Infrastructure Management:
  Take ownership of the overall systems infrastructure, encompassing engineering, implementation, integration, and technical services and support.
• VMWare Expertise:
  Hold a VMWare Certified Professional certification to align with the direction and supportability of current and future needs.
• Infrastructure Design and Maintenance:
  Design, implement, install, maintain, and administer infrastructures, covering hardware, software, and various configurations.
• Proactive Performance Monitoring:
  Monitor overall performance proactively to identify potential issues and fine-tune systems appropriately.
• Root Cause Analysis:
  Perform root cause analysis on failed components and implement corrective measures as necessary.
• Process Improvement:
  Collaborate with team members to establish and enhance processes and procedures, contributing to operational efficiency.
• Autonomous Work:
  Execute tasks with minimal supervision, demonstrating self-reliance and initiative.
• Complex Problem Solving:
  Handle complex issues and problems independently, referring only the most intricate matters to higher-level staff.
• Verification, Validation, and Project Management:
  Undertake independent verification, validation, and project management responsibilities for current and future projects.
• Technical Support:
  Provide technical support, advice, and troubleshooting for utility network operations, aiming for a 98% target network uptime.
• Documentation:
  Create comprehensive documentation for use in configuring, repairing, and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network operating systems.
• Process Development:
  Develop and document processes and procedures for day‑to‑day operations, ensuring clarity and consistency.
• System Implementation:
  Implement systems as needed based on network application requirements.
• Active Directory Management:
  Manage Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, WSUS, SCCM, and Whats Up Gold  efficiently.
• Virtualization Support:
  Offer support for VMware ESX/VSphere Virtualization Technologies, covering design, management, and implementation.
• Storage Area Network (SAN) Support:
  Provide support for Storage Area Network (SAN) configurations.
• Installation Expertise:
  Offer installation support for network applications, ensuring seamless integration.
• Network Architecture:
  Produce network architectural drawings and schematic diagrams to enhance clarity and understanding.
• Network Monitoring:
  Conduct thorough network monitoring, encompassing all assets, to ensure optimal performance.
• Image Management:
  Develop and maintain all workstations and server images to maintain consistency.
• Security Monitoring:
  Monitor and maintain McAfee's Host-Based Security System (HBSS), ensuring virus definitions, patch versions, and Department of Defense (DoD) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) compliance on all network servers and workstations.
• Information Security Compliance:
  Utilize the DoD Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) to update, manage, and track the implementation of information security requirements for IT assets and resources.
• DIARMF Support:
  Provide support as needed for the Department of Defense Information Assurance Risk Management Framework (DIARMF).
