Lead, Digital Optimizations

Position Summary

SHRM is seeking a Digital Optimizations Lead with SEO, AI, and CRO expertise to lead and execute the search and lead generation optimization strategy across SHRM’s web properties.

• Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies to drive organic traffic, focusing on both on-page and off-page best practices.
• Provide data-based SEO recommendations for content development, identifying content gaps and high‑potential search phrases using AI‑driven insights.
• Act as the AI search expert, providing insights into how AI algorithms influence search behavior and guiding strategic adaptations to improve web performance.

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in SEO strategy and execution, with a proven track record of driving organic growth through both on‑page and off‑page tactics.
• In‑depth understanding of on‑page, technical, and off‑page SEO strategies and AI‑driven search trends.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data and deliver actionable insights.

Hybrid schedule:
Tuesday–Thursday in office, Monday and Friday remote. Employees must be available during core business hours. Work is generally performed sitting, speaking, hearing, and typing. Visual acuity is required to use a computer screen.

Compensation: $105,000 to $120,000 per year.
