Azure Cloud Developer, Mid

The Opportunity

Doing Dev Sec Ops  well means development and automation. Making tasks repeatable and efficient across multiple environments requires infrastructure as code, scripting, and sometimes writing applications. Our cloud service broker team is looking for a developer with a good understanding of Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure, containerization, and networking to make new cloud capabilities available in secure environments.

• 3+ years of experience building software solutions using Azure in a secure environment
• 1+ years of experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Experience designing and automating the provisioning of cloud resources and infrastructure as code tools
• Experience with Platform as a Service technologies
• Experience deploying and working with Azure Landing Zones
• Experience in assisting with implementing and developing Azure policies
• Knowledge of network technologies, including DNS, load balancing, and TLS
• Secret clearance
• HS diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 or 8140 IAT Level II Certification within 30 days of hire date

• Experience with AWS or Google Cloud Platform
• Experience with Azure Sentinel, Microsoft security, and Azure services Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Cloud Networking
• Experience with containerization, including Kubernetes
• Experience deploying and managing Azure Virtual Desktop using Infrastructure as Code
• Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux and command-line interfaces, including Bash
• Experience configuring Windows client and servers, including Active Directory or Group Policies
• Experience with Git and Git Lab
• Top Secret clearance
• Master’s degree
• Azure Architect Expert Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $ (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
