The Opportunity:
As an operations analyst, you're passionate about exploring the root cause of an issue and then analyzing, reporting, and developing recommendations for a creative solution. We need a research analyst like you to help us solve complex problems for our clients. On our team, you'll assist in budgetary, force structure, military capability evaluations to help deliver solutions.
You won't go at it alone, you'll work alongside a team to conduct research, prepare graphs and charts, and analyze and interpret programmatic or cost data of a wide variety of defense programs. Once documented, you'll help develop findings to present results, collaborate with stakeholders, and participate in various program meetings to improve program efficiency.
In this role, you'll use your passion for analytics and statistics to help devise modeling and measuring techniques utilizing mathematics, statistical methods, engineering methods, operational mathematics techniques and other principles and laws of scientific and economic disciplines.
Use your operations research experience to develop technologies and concepts that advance the nation's defense.

You Have:
- 8+ years of experience with Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE), Force and capability development within the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS), Intelligence collection and analysis related to Allies & Partner capabilities and requirements, as well as near-peer adversary capabilities, threat modeling, and operational environments, or Military or operations research-related field such as U.S. current military operations, munitions, readiness, and deployment routines covering air and space, ground, special operations, and maritime domains
- 8+ years of experience working with DoD stakeholders to collect, maintain, and refine complex datasets such as force structure modeling, operation readiness, and global logistics data
- Experience with Structured Query Language (SQL) to manage and query logistics and force inventories, personnel readiness databases, and intelligence reports
- Experience creating solutions within a collaborative, cross-functional team environment
- TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor's degree
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts such as statistical analysis, trends, and design of experiments in layman's terms
- Possession of strong active voice and technical writing skills
- Possession of adeptness in interfacing with clients
- Master's degree in Operations Research, Industrial Engineer, or mathematical or statistical related degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $ (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
