Azure Engineer, Senior

Doing Dev Sec Ops well requires development and automation. Our cloud service broker team seeks an Azure Engineer to design, automate, and secure cloud resources in a mission‑critical environment. The role focuses on infrastructure as code, containerization, networking, and secure deployment across multiple environments.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience building software solutions using Azure in a secure environment
3+ years of experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
Experience designing and automating the provisioning of cloud resources and IaC tools
Experience with Platform as a Service technologies
Experience implementing and developing Azure policies
Knowledge of network technologies, including DNS, load balancing, and TLS
Secret clearance
High school diploma or GED and 8+ years of experience in software engineering, or bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of experience in software engineering
Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 or 8140 IAT Level II Certification within 30 days of hire date

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with AWS or Google Cloud Platform
Experience with Azure Sentinel, Microsoft security, and Azure services such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Cloud Networking
Experience with containerization, including Kubernetes
Experience deploying and managing Azure Virtual Desktop using IaC
Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux and command‑line interfaces, including Bash
Experience configuring Windows client and servers, including Active Directory or Group Policies
Experience with Git and Git Lab
Top Secret clearance
Master’s degree
Azure Architect Expert Certification

Clearance

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information;
Secret clearance is required.

Compensation

The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $ (annualized USD). Salary is determined by location, education, skills, and experience.
