The Opportunity:
Dev Ops engineering requires a specific mix of develop ment, engineering, and communication skills . As a Dev Ops engineer, you know that these skills create efficiency and effectiveness-so you can quickly deliver the best solutions for clients. We're looking for a seasoned Dev Ops engineer like you to develop critical tools-and get them into the hands of those who need them most.
As a Dev Ops engineer at Booz Allen, you'll oversee a team as they streamline the sof tware develop ment lifecycle, from requirements to monitoring in production. You'll incorporate open-source tools, automation, and cloud resources to cut down on tedious tasks and free up the team's develop ers to do what they do best-create. You'll guide the team as they implement continuous integration and delivery to limit manual testing and troubleshooting.

* 10+ years of experience in the develop ment of tools and processes to drive Dev Sec Ops maturity by automating builds, testing, monitoring, and pushing releases across environments
* 10+ years of experience with configuration management tools, automating infrastructure provisioning, and designing, automating and maintaining CI / CD pipelines with Gitlab CI, Github actions
* Experience building enterprise cloud-native solutions and hosting applications on commer cia l cloud providers such as AWS and Azure
* Experience in Linux administration, and with containerizing and orchestrating workloads using Docker and Kubernetes
* Experience integrating automated security checks into CI / CD pipelines such as SAST, SCA, or image scanning
* Experience with Git based branching, tagging, and release workflows
* Experience with networking fundamentals such as DNS, routing, load balancing, or TLS
* Experience working with application develop ment teams across the sof tware develop ment lifecycle and mentoring employees within a collaborative team environment
* Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
* Bachelor's degree in a STEM field Nice If You Have:
* Experience with common build tools such as Maven, Gradle, and NPM
* Experience with a critical ATO process
* Experience working within a critical CORE
* Experience with tools like Cloud Formation, Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
* Experience in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, Go, or similar
* Experience triaging and resolving issues related to both open source and commer cia l tools in public cloud environments
* Experience with creating and improving continuous automation across multiple technical stacks
* Experience automating CI / CD pipelines with tools such as Jenkins or Git Lab
* Master's degree in an engineering, physics, mathematics, computer science, or related STEM field
* Cloud or Dev Ops certification s such as AWS Solutions Architect, CKA / CKAD, or Security+ Clearance:
