Job Title
AMERICAN SYSTEMS is seeking a professional to support national priority programs through strategic solutions in the areas of Information Technology, Test & Evaluation, Program Mission Support, Engineering & Analysis, and Training.
Job ResponsibilitiesThe key responsibilities include:
- Support the Secretary of War for Science and Technology (S&T) Program Protection
- Advise top Pentagon leadership on biotechnology issues
- Evaluate and secure cutting-edge technology essential to the modernization of national defense strategy
- Represent USD R&E on Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and participate in Government-approved conferences and forums
- Assist, prepare and conduct meetings for current Biotechnology issues
- Conduct biotechnology research analysis
- Develop and coordinate concepts and requirements for the application of current and emerging technologies
- Assist and prepare presentations and reports to DoD leadership and outside DoD
- Track the department-wide budget for efforts aligning with Biotechnology
- Maintain and update Biotechnology modernization roadmaps, coordinate roadmaps with key stakeholders
- Make recommendations to the development of Concepts of Operations (CONOPS) pertinent to mission needs and technical capabilities
The required qualifications include:
- 10 years of experience in engineering, biotechnology, and Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E)
- Master's degree in STEM and minimum of 5-years recent experience in biotechnology or an MBA degree
- TS/SCI Clearance
- Excellent writing, communication and briefing
Previous experience with:
- Department of Defense RDT&E mission and processes
- Engineering, analysis of alternatives, integration, requirements, and testing
- Biotechnology programs
- Biological and biotechnology experimentation
- Experimentation of biological effects for RF and directed energy weapons
- RF and directed energy capabilities
AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $/Yr.
- USD $185,000/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
