Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, Business, or a related field
5+ years of experience supporting DoD, Federal, or Intelligence Community programs
Experience coordinating with senior military leaders, government stakeholders, and industry partners
Experience supporting technology development, testing, capability assessments, or operational planning activities
Strong understanding of Counter-UAS (C-UAS) technologies, defense acquisition, or capability development processes
Ability to develop and present executive-level briefings, reports, and recommendations
Proven experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment

JOB DESCRIPTION
Insight Global is looking for a Staff Officer to sit on in Alexandria, VA. They provide day-to-day coordination, planning, and integration support for Counter-UAS and related defense capability development initiatives across the Department of Defense, federal agencies, and industry partners. Working onsite in Alexandria, VA, this individual serves as a key liaison between operational users, technical organizations, acquisition offices, and senior leadership to ensure programs, testing activities, and technology development efforts remain aligned with mission requirements.

The Staff Officer coordinates meetings, working groups, and stakeholder engagements; tracks action items and program milestones; analyzes technical and operational information; and develops briefings, reports, and recommendations for senior government and military leaders. They maintain awareness of emerging technologies, support capability assessments and testing activities, facilitate collaboration across multiple organizations, and help translate operational challenges into actionable solutions that support future capability development and acquisition decisions.

Success in this role requires strong communication skills, experience working within the defense community, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment. Compensation: $40/hr to $65/hr exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
