Project Manager & Workday Financials Expert

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager & Workday Financials expert to support fixed asset and capital project initiatives for a long-term contract opportunity. This role is ideal for someone who is detail oriented, combines strong business analysis skills with hands-on Workday expertise, and can lead complex, cross-functional efforts with precision. The selected candidate will help drive system-related projects, align business needs with technical solutions, and ensure successful execution across stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Lead system-focused projects related to fixed assets and capital initiatives, ensuring timelines, priorities, and deliverables remain on track.

• Partner with business and technical teams to gather requirements, assess impacts, and translate operational needs into effective system solutions.

• Oversee project planning activities, including scope definition, risk identification, milestone tracking, and status communication.

• Facilitate collaboration across cross-functional stakeholders to resolve issues, support decision-making, and maintain project momentum.

• Analyze current processes and recommend improvements that strengthen controls, reporting, and efficiency within Workday environments.

• Coordinate testing, validation, and implementation activities for system updates affecting capital management and fixed asset functions.

• Prepare clear project documentation, business process materials, and executive-ready updates to support governance and transparency.

• Monitor project outcomes and support post-implementation follow-up to confirm solutions meet business objectives and user expectations.
