This position is located in the in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), Office of Financial Management Systems (OFMS). Join the OCFO/OFMS staff to become a recognized technical information technology (IT) expert in evaluating available tools, methodologies, and processes for feasibility in improving the OFMS effectiveness and efficiency in meeting the requirements, functions, and services of its automated financial systems.
You must meet the United States Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) qualification requirements (including specialized experience and/or educational requirements) for the advertised position. Specialized Experience is experience that has equipped applicants with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To be creditable, you must possess one full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade in the Federal service:
For this position, the next lower grade level is a GS-13.
- Experience leading in the operation and maintenance of financial and planning / budgeting systems including enforcing IT security policies, principles, and standards.
- Experience identifying and documenting solutions to information security problems/issues and recommending changes to prevent recurrences.
- Experience building service-oriented web applications and APIs in Agile environments - Angular, Spring Boot;
Java, Type Script, Node.js; REST/SOAP; AWS/PaaS. - Experience in object-oriented development with DBs (DB2, SQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL) and CI/CD pipelines for modern delivery.
