Senior Cloud Architect

Statera Systems Solutions LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Architect to support a customer enterprise data environment at Fort Belvoir. This position requires a senior technical professional with demonstrated experience in cloud architecture, cloud migration, enterprise data architecture, and data management within Federal or DoD environments.

The Senior Cloud Architect will serve as a key member of the customer's Data Management Team, helping design and advance secure, scalable cloud and enterprise data solutions that support business intelligence, analytics, data quality, and information management. The successful candidate will combine strong cloud architecture expertise with an understanding of enterprise data environments and the security and classification requirements associated with DoD systems and information.

This position requires the ability to translate mission, business, security, and technical requirements into practical architecture solutions and to work effectively with technical teams, analysts, program leadership, and customer stakeholders.

• Design and guide enterprise cloud architectures that support the customer's mission, data, analytics, and information-management requirements.
• Support the planning, design, and execution of cloud migration strategies, including the migration and integration of applications, workloads, databases, and enterprise data.
• Develop cloud architecture solutions that account for DoD security requirements, Impact Levels, data classification, system boundaries, access requirements, and information protection requirements applicable to the environment.
• Translate business, mission, security, and technical requirements into scalable and sustainable cloud and enterprise architecture solutions.
• Guide business intelligence, analytics, data mining, visualization, and data-quality efforts as a key member of the customer's Data Management Team.
• Work with IT, analytics, engineering, and product-development teams to develop and integrate applications, databases, analytical components, and supporting technologies.
• Apply expertise in data modeling, data access, data integration, data visualization, data discovery, statistical methods, and database design.
• Support the development and implementation of the customer's enterprise data strategy, including enterprise data warehouse and advanced analytics capabilities.
• Design data warehouse schemas and establish appropriate ETL/ELT processes based on business requirements and operational workflows.
• Develop and maintain architecture standards, technical guidelines, documentation, and recommended practices for designing, deploying, integrating, tuning, and maintaining cloud, analytical, and data-persistence technologies.
• Lead or support the development of analytic environments involving structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data, including rapid prototyping and research and development of emerging capabilities.
• Evaluate technologies, platforms, tools, and vendor solutions and provide technically sound recommendations based on customer requirements.
• Gather and analyze technical and business requirements and collaborate across stakeholder groups to develop practical solutions.
• Support advanced analytics capabilities, including statistical analysis, data mining, and associated analytical technologies.
• Clearly communicate architecture recommendations, technical findings, risks, and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Remain current on cloud architecture, enterprise data, business intelligence, security, and emerging technology trends relevant to the customer's mission.
