Procurement Specialist

Responsibilities

• Shape Strategic Purchasing:
  As part of our central purchasing team, you play a crucial role in strategic procurement. You are responsible for creating and maintaining procurement documents, orders, and master data in modern procurement and ERP systems and work closely with specialist departments to develop and implement optimal procurement strategies.
• Focus on IT Procurement:
  Concentrate on sourcing and managing external IT service providers and freelancers, as well as procuring IT software and hardware for our projects and services together with your international colleagues.
• Collaborative Supplier Management:
  Build targeted, long‑term partnerships with our suppliers and strategically develop them. Through targeted supplier qualifications and evaluations, you establish a solid foundation for sustainable collaboration and strengthen our market position.
• Efficiency Improvement through Cost Optimization:
  Contribute to reducing procurement costs by conducting comprehensive price comparisons, strategically evaluating tenders, and making cost‑ and benefit‑based decisions.
• Future‑Oriented Process Innovation:
  Actively participate in the digitalization and improvement of our procurement processes. Your strategic insight into trends and new technologies helps us establish innovative approaches in procurement and continuously improve our processes.

  Ensure that all procurement activities are legal and compliant by guaranteeing adherence to relevant regulations and internal guidelines and identifying risks.

• A completed degree in a commercial field.
• Relevant professional experience in procurement or IT consulting.
• Solid experience with SAP.
• Good knowledge of common MS Office products.
• Ideally, familiarity with Microsoft Power BI (not required).
• Good English skills, and ideally, German language skills.
• You are diligent, well‑organized, and maintain an overview.
• Initiative, a service‑oriented mindset, teamwork skills, and enthusiasm for the digital world.
