Manager of Membership

PRIMA is seeking a dynamic, motivated professional to lead its membership efforts. The Manager of Membership should bring an entrepreneurial spirit and a strong, proactive mindset. As part of a small team, this role essentially is the membership department—offering a unique opportunity for someone to take ownership and shape the program.

• Serve as the primary point of contact and build long-term relationships with members
• Manage member recruitment and retention strategies
• Maintain accurate membership records in the association management system
• Monitor and analyze membership trends, demographics, and participation levels
• Coordinate annual elections
• Coordinate the PRIMA Awards program
• Serve as the liaison to membership committees
• Utilize Member Suite to support membership operations

• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in nonprofit membership development
• Strong understanding of membership recruitment, retention, and engagement strategies
• Proficiency with association management systems (AMS), CRM platforms, and data analytics; familiarity with Member Suite is a plus
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a virtual home‑office environment
