Operations Management
Position Overview
ALIVE! is a mission-driven nonprofit dedicated to providing basic needs assistance, e.g., supporting families through food assistance, housing support, and community engagement. We serve our community with compassion, innovation, and accountability.
The Warehouse Operations and Logistics Manager is a senior leadership role at ALIVE! responsible for building, strengthening, and sustaining the organization's operational backbone — logistics, scheduling, inventory, fleet management, volunteer management, and procurement — while also ensuring effective, high-quality delivery of ALIVE!'s core food programs.
Reporting directly to the Assistant Executive Director, this position works side‑by‑side with and directly supervises the Operations and Logistics Director, while also overseeing the Program Director and Food Program Manager/Coordinator. This is a hands‑on operational leadership role: the ideal candidate brings existing skill — or strong readiness to build skill — in the mechanics of running a complex logistics and service‑delivery operation, not just program strategy.
The Manager will lead efforts to modernize and smooth out ALIVE!'s operational systems, standardize processes, improve staff accountability, and maintain high standards for program quality, client experience, and reliable data — with a particular emphasis on getting the operational side of the house (logistics, scheduling, inventory, fleet, volunteers, procurement) running efficiently and sustainably.
