Job Overview

Tyson Foods is seeking a Forklift Operator to drive a sit‑down forklift and deliver products to the warehouse and production floor. The role includes housekeeping duties, maintaining cleanliness, performing pre‑trip inspections, and ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices and safety standards.

• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
• Receive, store, and maintain incoming items in accordance with warehouse standards.
• Maintain a clean and orderly storage arrangement.
• Record daily checklists for pre‑trip inspections.
• Comply with GMP, safety, audit, and food safety standards.
• Perform occasional production‑equipment related tasks.
• Read and understand manuals, blueprints, plant paperwork, and labels.
• Pass the Forklift Driving Skills test and meet performance/productivity standards.

• Minimum 6‑month work history with the same employer.
• Minimum 6‑month forklift operator experience (may be from multiple employers).
• Ability to read and understand relevant documentation.
• Willingness to pass the forklift driving skills test.

Must be able to lift, carry, and move products while reaching, bending, climbing, and walking or standing throughout the warehouse. The role may involve weekend and/or holiday work.
