Welder C

The Welder C position requires a safety‑conscious individual who will perform welding operations on tank cars and large components in a collaborative team environment.

• Pass required welding tests including FCAW.
• Read, understand, and follow blueprints, welding procedures and the proper use of a tape measure.
• Operate machinery to position, roll, and move tanks and large components.
• Perform welding operations per the level of welding certification to fabricate and attach components to tank cars.
• Check angle measurements, adjust parts to secure them together.
• Assemble flange components.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Proficiency in FCAW welding and other welding processes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding procedures.
• Skill in measuring, adjusting, and securing components accurately.
• Experience operating machinery for positioning large components.
