Job DescriptionWe are seeking candidates with a strong background and knowledge of the assembly and installation of furniture from all kinds of manufacturers.
Candidate must be willing to work hard and have good knowledge of assembling furniture.
Candidate must have a reliable car to get to jobs.
Furniture, fitness equipment, play set, swing set and many other items.
Full‑time position and part‑time position available.
Pay rate depending on experience $12 – $15/HR.
Candidate must be able to move furniture.
Candidate must be able to successfully assemble furniture of any kind, including fitness equipment, and lift up to 100 lbs.
Candidates must possess:
Professional appearance and good personality.
High school diploma/GED (minimum) with experience assembling furniture.
Reliability in reporting to work when scheduled.
One year minimum experience in installations and assembly of furniture.
One year minimum experience assembling Ikea furniture.
Experience assembling office furniture and home furniture.
Advanced experience using power tools (cordless drill, corded drill, hammer, screwdriver).
Availability to work Monday–Sunday.
Availability for overtime, evening, and weekend work as needed.
Reliable transportation to and from work and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to professionally communicate and interact with customers in English.
Problem‑solving skills and ability to create solutions.
Experience solving problems with furniture.
Ability to explain problems and solutions to customers; self‑motivated and able to take initiative.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Ability to manage job times and organize priorities.
Supervisory skills a plus.
Must be legally allowed to work in the USA.
QualificationsPhysical requirements:
Ability to stand and walk for long periods, be on knees for long periods, bend, kneel, stand and walk for extended times, carry and transport heavy equipment with or without team members, continuously lift items up to 100 lbs, and work safely.
Personal character in accordance with company’s core values and beliefs. (Must pass a legal background and drug test.)
