This ambulatory surgery center provides anesthesia services across a range of outpatient surgical specialties in a structured clinical environment. The facility operates under a physician supervision model with one MD overseeing 6 to 7 operating rooms, supporting organized and efficient case management throughout the workday. Locum tenens CRNA coverage is sought to address current staffing needs within the Anesthesia Department.

Alexandria, Virginia is a historic city situated along the Potomac River, offering a range of cultural and outdoor activities suited to diverse interests. Clinicians on assignment may explore Old Town Alexandria through guided walking tours, visit the Torpedo Factory Art Center, or engage with local history! Water taxi experiences along the Potomac River and day trips to nearby destinations provide additional recreational options throughout the assignment.

Clinicians in this role will provide anesthesia services under a physician supervision model during day shifts at an ambulatory surgery center working Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM with 8-hour shifts totaling 32 to 40 hours per week. Case responsibilities encompass a broad surgical mix including orthopedic, ENT, GI, pain, podiatry, general surgery, plastics, ophthalmology, gynecology, urology, and pediatric procedures.

The position operates under MD supervision covering 6 to 7 rooms simultaneously, with no call coverage required. Board certification is required, and credentialing is estimated at 30 to 45 days.
