Strong IV skills
Description:
Our Endo nurses support Electroconvulsive therapy sessions.
They use the same Endoscopy navigator on EPIC.
Nurses will be involved in preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care.
Main responsibilities include timeout and documentation.
PALS certification is a plus.
Expect to cover calls on weekends.
The on-call schedule is 24 hours, three times a month.
On-call hours on weekends are from 5 pm to the following day at 6:30 am.
There are no floating requirements.
This position involves 75 outpatient and 25 inpatient procedures.
Scrubs must be navy blue pants and solid navy blue or solid white tops.
Jackets can be solid navy blue or solid white.
The facility also supports ECT cases three times a week.
Candidates must have strong IV skills.
