Responsibilities- Delivers safe patient care using the nursing process.
- Provides direct patient care within scope of practice.
- Educates patients and families; directs nursing support staff.
- Maintains standards of care in the Coronary Care Unit.
- Accountable for care of assigned patients.
- Communicates clinical changes to physicians, including cardiac monitoring and diagnostics.
- Responds promptly and accurately to changes in patient condition or treatment response.
- Current and valid state RN License.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Current ACLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation upon hire.
- Previous one (1) year of Acute Care hospital experience required.
- Ventilator Management experience preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
