An Infusion Center Neurology Nurse Practitioner will be hired by Neurology Services, Inc., Alexandria, VA. The role involves managing the infusion center: ordering, storing, and administering specialized intravenous therapies for complex neurological conditions such as multiple sclerosis, CIDP, myasthenia gravis, and chronic migraines. The Nurse Practitioner will seek insurance approval, administer treatments, monitor therapy, manage adverse reactions, and provide patient education.
The advanced practice provider will evaluate patients, manage care protocols, and collaborate with neurologists.
- Manage the Infusion Center, including scheduling, billing approval, therapeutic drug management, and Center certification management.
- Therapy Administration:
Oversee the delivery of specialized biologics and immunosuppressants (e.g., Ocrevus, Tysabri, Leqembi). - Patient Assessment:
Evaluate vitals and neurologic status before, during, and after the infusion. - Symptom and Reaction Management:
Recognize and treat adverse drug reactions or infusion‑related symptoms. - Patient
Education:
Explain treatment regimens, potential side effects, and long‑term care plans to patients and families.
- 3 to 5 years of experience with medical insurance billing.
- Ability to travel between the three locations with a reliable personal vehicle.

Job Type: Full‑time
Schedule:
9:00 am–5:00 pm Monday to Friday; 9:00 am–12:00 pm Saturday.
