This ambulatory surgery center provides anesthesia services across a range of outpatient surgical specialties in a structured clinical environment. The facility operates under a physician supervision model with one MD overseeing 6 to 7 operating rooms, supporting organized and efficient case management throughout the workday. Locum tenens CRNA coverage is sought to address current staffing needs within the Anesthesia Department.

Alexandria, Virginia offers a range of historical and cultural attractions suited to diverse interests. Clinicians on assignment may explore Old Town Alexandria, the waterfront along the Potomac River, and history museums, as well as scenic riverside trails leading to Mount Vernon. The area provides a well-rounded destination for those seeking both leisure and cultural experiences beyond the clinical setting.

Clinicians in this role will provide anesthesia services under a physician supervision model during day shifts, Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with 8-hour shifts totaling 32 to 40 hours per week. The surgical case mix encompasses orthopedic, ENT, GI, pain, podiatry, general surgery, plastics, ophthalmology, gynecology, urology, and pediatric procedures. The staffing model consists of one MD supervising 6 to 7 operating rooms simultaneously.

No call coverage is required, and board certification is required for all clinicians in this role.
