Job SummaryThe Certified Nursing Assistant provides personal care and assistance with daily living activities to clients in their homes under the supervision of licensed or administrative staff. The CNA is a key member of the caregiving team, ensuring clients maintain dignity, safety, and well-being while receiving non-medical support.
Key Responsibilities- Follow Care Builders at Home policies and procedures
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal assistance
- Perform light housekeeping duties and meal preparation
- Monitor and document changes in client conditions
- Document care provided and observations accurately using electronic systems
- Uphold residents’ rights and ensure their privacy and dignity in all interactions
- Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy client environment by following universal standards and precautions
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CNA certification
- Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation
- Must be able to physically perform the functions of the position (bending, stooping, using hands)
- Communication skills and carry out instructions
- Must be able to read, write, and understand English
- Must pass a background check and TB screening
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
