• Teaching in ASN Program (Primary) or RN‑BSN program (Adjunct)
• Incorporate student‑learning teaching/learning strategies in classroom and lab/clinical instruction.
• Participate in Department of Nursing and University Committees.
• Ensure student compliance with health requirements.
• Participate in student counseling and advising.
• Schedule office hours in compliance with University Policy.
• Evaluate student performance in classroom and clinical courses.
• Develop course schedules and syllabi in compliance with department and University policies.

• Master’s degree in Nursing.
• Two years clinical experience as registered nurse.
• Obtain Certified Nurse Educator credential within 3 years of hire.
• Active Louisiana RN license or Compact License.
• CPR certified with documented health compliance as required of nursing faculty.
