THE POSITION:

Medical-Surgical nurses provide direct care to adult patients in a variety of settings and is the largest group of nurses. They provide care for patients often with multiple diagnoses, across multiple medical specialties.

Weekly amount stated in the job postings is scaled based on estimated hourly wages and potential stipends available for the location of the assignment. Requirements:

Minimum of 1 year of current work experience providing in M/S - MEDICAL SURGICAL. Virginia State Healthcare Provider license or willing to obtain one.

Certifications Needed:

What You’ll Do: Conduct move-in, 3-day, semi-annual, and change-of-condition assessments Perform monthly wellness visits and monitor health trends Follow up on falls, incidents, and hospital returns Transcribe physician orders and ensure accurate MAR/TAR documentation Complete medication audits and oversee medication program compliance Partner with families, physicians, and the Resident Care Director Promote infection control and survey readiness Provide clinical guidance and training to care staff You serve as a proactive clinical resource preventing decline through assessment, early intervention, and strong documentation oversight.

What We’re Looking For: Active RN license in good standing Graduate of approved nursing program 1+ year experience in senior care or clinical setting Strong assessment, regulatory, and communication skills.

Pay Range: 35.05 - 48.40
