7a-7p, 3p-3a, with flexibility to work 7p-7a

Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a Travel position in the Emergency Room/Emergency Department in Alexandria, VA. This role focuses on providing care to both adult and pediatric patients in a mixed ER environment. Candidates must have experience in handling a diverse range of cases from STEMI and stroke to pediatrics, as well as managing drips such as routine vasopressors and insulin.

Key Responsibilities of the RN – ER/ED – Emergency Room/Emergency Department

• Provide care for both adult and pediatric ER patients
• Manage common diagnoses including STEMI, stroke, sprains, sutures, and high acuity cases
• Administer drips such as vasopressors, insulin, and sedation
• Work within nurse-to-patient ratios of 4:1, stretching to 5 during peak times
• Float to Springfield healthplex location as required

Requirements of the RN – ER/ED – Emergency Room/Emergency Department

• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications required
• TNCC preferred
• 2+ years of experience in combined adult and pediatric ER
• Experience with Epic access necessary
