American Traveler is hiring a Neuro ICU RN requiring a VA or compact license and 2 years of experience to provide critical care to neurological patients on 12-hour night shifts.
Details- Neuro ICU setting with 18 beds
- Patient ratios of 1:2, flexing up or down based on acuity
- Night shift schedule, 7p-7a, 36 hours per week
- Uses Epic EMR
- Every other weekend required
- May float to the Neuro IMC unit
- Active VA or compact RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- NIHSS certification required
- CCRN, SCRN, or CNRN certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years of Neuro ICU experience required
- Provide critical care nursing to neurological ICU patients
- Complete 2 shifts of floor orientation, with additional shifts if needed
- Holiday coverage required for 1 major and 1 minor holiday, every other holiday
- Scrub requirements: navy blue pants with solid navy blue or solid white tops, and solid navy blue or solid white jackets
