Sara Campbell is seeking an experienced, energetic Store Manager to lead our boutique team and deliver a truly personalized shopping experience. This is an exciting opportunity for a relationship-driven retail leader who enjoys building a business, developing a strong team, and creating meaningful connections within the local community.

Sara Campbell Limited is a privately owned women’s apparel company headquartered in Boston. For more than 35 years, we have specialized in beautifully made clothing, with a particular focus on dresses.

In 2008, we evolved from a private-label manufacturer into a growing specialty retailer carrying our own branded collection. Today, we operate 22 boutiques and continue to expand. We are proud to support American manufacturing, local job creation, women’s causes, and the communities surrounding our stores.

What You’ll Do:

Drive Sales and Community Engagement
  • Lead the store in achieving and exceeding sales goals.
  • Build genuine, long-term relationships with customers.
  • Develop creative strategies to increase traffic and sales.
  • Host community events, Girls’ Night Out parties, trunk shows, and other in-store experiences.
  • Build partnerships with local organizations and support women’s causes that are meaningful to our customers.
  • Use the “Beat Yesterday” philosophy to motivate the team and track performance.
Deliver an Exceptional Customer Experience
  • Create a warm, welcoming, and customer-focused boutique environment.
  • Provide personalized service, honest styling advice, and strong product knowledge.
  • Turn first-time shoppers into loyal customers through thoughtful follow-up and communication.
  • Educate associates and customers on products, fit, quality, and styling.
  • Encourage customer feedback to improve the shopping experience.
Lead and Develop the Team
  • Recruit, train, motivate, and retain talented sales associates.
  • Lead by example while maintaining the highest level of professionalism and integrity.
  • Provide ongoing sales training, coaching, performance feedback, and development.
  • Create effective schedules based on business needs and allocated payroll hours.
  • Motivate the team through meetings, contests, recognition, and team‑building activities.
  • Foster open, respectful, and collaborative communication.
  • Develop internal talent and build bench strength for future opportunities.
Manage Store Operations
  • Oversee all day-to-day front- and back-of-house operations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
  • Manage controllable expenses, including payroll, supplies, inventory, and shrink.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and oversee physical inventories.
  • Ensure time and attendance records are complete and accurate.
  • Implement company policies, procedures, and retail standards.
  • Promote loss‑prevention awareness and operational accountability.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, well‑stocked, and beautifully presented boutique.
Maintain Visual Standards
  • Deliver a high standard of visual merchandising throughout the store.
  • Ensure windows, displays, and product presentations remain fresh and inviting.
  • Update merchandising frequently to create interest and highlight new arrivals.
  • Identify replenishment opportunities and maintain appropriate stock levels.
What We’re Looking For
  • Five or more years of retail management experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team‑development skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive sales and build customer loyalty.
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
  • Strong understanding of retail operations and customer‑service practices.
  • Organized, energetic, responsible, and trustworthy.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for fashion, community involvement, and American‑made products.
  • Ability to lift, carry, or move merchandise weighing up to 20 pounds.
  • Ability to safely use ladders and stairs while merchandising.
  • Availability to work holidays and weekends, including at least three Saturdays per month.
  • Requests for more than four consecutive days off, including weekends, require advance corporate approval.
