Expected Salary Range: $220,000 - $240,000 per year

The Lead, Mission Critical Facility Solutions develops sales opportunities for the company’s secure construction and manufacturing services with select agencies and offices of the United States federal government. The Lead, Mission Critical Facility Solutions collects, analyzes, and reports emerging federal government customer requirements, competitive information, and industry insights, and then develops relevant sales leads and prospects. The Lead, Mission Critical Facility Solutions creates and maintains durable and redundant corporate relationships among the company, customers and industry partners to ensure cutting edge market information and current geopolitical situations inform existing and future company business development strategies.

The Lead, Mission Critical Facility Solutions regularly provides subject matter expertise, relationship management, and project-level decision support for existing company projects within the scope of the Lead’s government and industry focus.

Duties and Responsibilities / Essential Functions

  • Refine, implement and execute effective strategies to earn business from select agencies and offices of the United States federal government for the company’s core offerings.
  • Identify, pursue and win specific business opportunities from select agencies and offices of the United States federal government, including their prime contractors.
  • Lead and execute initiatives to research, plan, and develop new company offerings and capabilities that align with trending needs of the company’s identified customer set.
  • Capitalize on existing networks of relationships across select federal agencies to develop business opportunities for the company.
  • Leverage an existing in-depth understanding of federal government organizational structures, mission priorities, funding profiles, and procurement approaches to pursue and win core offering sales opportunities for the company.
  • Utilize an advanced knowledge and expertise regarding mission critical utility infrastructure, technical power systems, secure facility design and construction, and novel secure communications solutions to win new business.
  • Maintain and record an updated understanding of select customer requirements and the strengths and weaknesses of company competitors.
  • Provide technical guidance to enable the creation of winning bids for mission critical utility, secure facility, and secure communications opportunities.
  • Collaborate with company personnel to develop and review proposals, cost estimates, and secure construction and manufacturing project execution plans.

Skills / Specifications

  • In-depth understanding of federal classified construction, manufacturing, and communications market trends and conditions.
  • Subject matter expert knowledge of mission critical utility infrastructure design and construction, electromagnetic interference / radio frequency interference (EMI/RFI) shielding, sensitive compartmented information facilities (SCIFs), and secure data transport.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a dynamic and collaborative team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.

Supervisory Responsibility
