Our client, Century 21 Accent Homes Property Management, is a family-owned real estate and property management firm dedicated to providing exceptional service to property owners, tenants, and real estate professionals throughout Northern Virginia.
We are looking for a driven, relationship-focused Business Development Manager to help expand our property management portfolio throughout the Northern Virginia market.
About the Role
This is a high-impact, full-cycle sales and business development role focused on generating and closing new property management business through Realtor referral relationships, affiliates, investors, and other strategic partnerships.
In this role, you’ll be expected to get into the market, build relationships, create new opportunities, manage prospects through the sales process, and convert those opportunities into new property management clients.
You’ll also work some company-generated leads, participate in marketing initiatives, attend local networking events, and help strengthen Century 21 Accent Homes’ presence throughout the Northern Virginia real estate and investor community.

Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Business Development
- Generate new property management business through proactive outreach and relationship building
- Develop and maintain strong referral relationships with Realtors, real estate teams, lenders, investors, vendors, affiliates, and other strategic partners
- Conduct consistent outreach through phone, email, text, social media, and in-person visits
- Build relationships with local real estate professionals who can become long-term referral partners
- Attend local networking events, investor meetups, real estate events, and industry functions
- Conduct in-person presentations with brokerages, real estate teams, and referral partners
- Identify and pursue new strategic partnerships that can generate recurring property management opportunities
- Work toward clear monthly and annual growth and business development goals
- Respond quickly and professionally to incoming owner and investor leads
- Conduct consultative sales conversations with property owners and investors
- Understand each prospect's goals, challenges, and investment objectives
- Clearly communicate Century 21 Accent Homes' property management services and value proposition
- Guide prospects through the sales process and convert qualified opportunities into new clients
- Maintain consistent follow-up with prospects who are not ready to move forward immediately
- Develop long-term relationships that create future business and referral opportunities
Client Meetings & Relationship Building
- Host in-person, phone, and virtual meetings with prospective clients
- Build trust with property owners by understanding their rental properties, goals, concerns, and expectations
