What You Will Do (Your Impact)
As The Primary Operational And Communications Powerhouse For The Chief Academic Engagement Officer’s (CAEO) External Portfolio, You Will Directly Support a GS-15 Coordinator To Expand Vital Defense Partnerships
* Drive Global Cyber Initiatives:
Act as the primary operational liaison for massive academic frameworks, ensuring university research and training align with cutting-edge DoW strategic goals.
* Interface with Senior Leaders:
Direct high-level scheduling and engagement with university presidents, academic deans, interagency partners, and top military brass.
* Lead Strategic Communications:
Draft high-impact messaging, review external correspondence, and serve as the editor-in-chief for the prestigious CAEO newsletter.
* Control the Digital Narrative:
Maintain and update the external-facing CAEO website, ensuring public cyber program initiatives are accurate and engaging.
* Brief Executive Leadership:
Build critical briefing decks for Senior Executive Service (SES) and General/Flag Officer review while managing critical partnership agreements. What You Bring to the Team### Requirements We are looking for a polished, highly organized professional who commands a room and effortlessly navigates both military protocol and academic cultures. Basic Requirements:
* Security Clearance:
Must have an active DoD Secret security clearance (US Citizenship required).

* Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience (or 9 years of total related experience in lieu of a degree).
* Domain Expertise: A deep understanding of how military cyber requirements intersect with higher education ecosystems, federal grant models, and Senior Military Colleges.
