ABOUT THIS ROLESt. Michael's is hiring a Security Specialist to support a Department of Defense (DOD) client. You will be in a client-facing role that will benefit from your program management experience and experience with processes and systems used to support security services within the DOD. Our core value of Teamwork will be paramount to this role as you will both lead and work as a contributing member to a team of security specialists providing support across multiple security disciplines in our client's security services office.
LOCATIONAlexandria, VA (100% On-site)
WHO YOU ARE- Active Top Secret w/SCI
- High school diploma or higher
- 1 or more years of experience working in a security role within government of military sectors
- 1 or more years of experience supporting medium scale DOD organizations
- 1 or more years of experience in DISS, federal record policy, and risk assessments
- Demonstrated experience identifying security vulnerabilities, recommending mitigation strategies, and training others in these areas
- Provide on-site administrative support for security related files and information, including records management
- Provide support to client customers requiring assistance with a variety of security related tasks (e.g., CAC issuance, VARs, System Access, SCI Indoc)
- Manage and monitor email inbox and other communication channels
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly metric recording and tracking
- Support inspections and participate in training activities
As required by applicable law, St. Michael's Inc. provides reasonable pay ranges for positions based on labor market conditions in locations where compensation transparency is required. The base pay range for this position is $75,000 to $90,000. Final compensation may vary depending on geographic location, relevant skills, experience, and other job-related factors. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, based on company and individual performance.
This position is in support of an upcoming opportunity, contingent upon award, and we are actively gathering qualified candidates in preparation for a successful proposal submission.
