Facility Security Officer (FSO)

Position Summary

The Facility Security Officer (FSO) is responsible for managing and administering the company's Industrial Security Program in accordance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), 32 CFR Part 117, DCSA guidance, and applicable federal agency security requirements. The FSO serves as the company's primary security official and trusted advisor for all personnel, facility, and classified information security matters.

This position ensures compliance with all government and company security policies while supporting classified contracts, maintaining Facility Clearance (FCL), managing personnel security clearances (PCLs), overseeing classified holdings, and serving as the primary liaison with the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) and customer security offices.

The FSO works closely with Human Resources, Contracts, Service Delivery, Information Technology, and executive leadership to protect company personnel, information, facilities, and assets while maintaining compliance with contractual and regulatory security requirements.

This is a newly created, dedicated FSO position established to support Edgesource's continued growth. Industrial security has historically been managed by the Chief Operating Officer alongside broader operational duties; as the company expands its contract base and pursues new opportunities, this role is being stood up to give the security function full-time, dedicated ownership.
