Bilingual Spanish Field Service Technician in Alexandria

Job Description

As a Nielsen Field Service Technician, you will establish and maintain long‑term relationships with assigned Nielsen families/households while installing Nielsen measurement equipment in newly assigned households. The role requires travel to the Mobile, AL or Gulf Port, MS areas and involves going door‑to‑door in people’s homes year‑round.

• Must be able to read and write in English.
• Ability to bend, lift up to 30 lbs, and navigate stairs and uneven surfaces.
• Experience with consumer electronics, software systems, or networking is preferred.
• Strong customer‑service, organizational, and time‑management skills.
• Ability to identify problems and troubleshoot data/equipment.
• Minimum High School Diploma/GED or 2+ years equivalent work experience.
• Valid Driver’s License.

• Travel locally up to 50% of the time.
• Driving up to 8 hours per day.
• Standing up to 6 hours per day; kneeling up to 2 hours per day.
• Ability to walk half a mile and work in all weather conditions.
• Work outdoors and inside homes in all seasons, regardless of cleanliness or presence of pets, dust, or odors.
