The City of Alexandria is seeking a skilled maintenance worker for the Gas Department to install, maintain and repair a range of utility systems, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and painting tasks. The role includes 24‑hour call responsibilities.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, relevant trade experience, and a valid driver’s license (Louisiana license required at appointment). Office of Pipeline Safety certifications must be obtained within six months of hire.
