The City of Alexandria seeks a skilled mechanic to perform mechanical repairs and preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles, heavy-duty trucks, buses, and related equipment under supervision. You will diagnose issues with gas and diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, brakes and AC, and prepare maintenance records.
Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED with automotive/diesel training and at least three years of relevant experience; a valid driver's license is required.
