Audio Technician

Red Carrot is seeking an Audio Technician to join a team supporting our federal government client. The Audio Technician is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining audio equipment to ensure high-quality sound recording for music, voiceovers, podcasts, and live broadcasts. This role involves troubleshooting technical issues, managing audio gear inventory, collaborating with producers and clients, and providing technical support for events.

Additionally, the technician ensures compliance with safety and copyright regulations while preparing reports on completed tasks, equipment status, and process improvements.

• Experience:
  
  3+ years of experience in a professional recording studio or broadcast environment.
• Technical Skills

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced studio environment with tight deadlines.
• Flexibility to work irregular hours, including nights and weekends, depending on project requirements.

• Ability to lift and move audio equipment as needed.
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods during recording sessions.
