Fire Sprinkler Inspector/Technician (GFPSITMD-4)

A growing fire protection company is seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Inspector / Service Technician to join its team. This position is responsible for inspecting, testing, servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial fire sprinkler systems while ensuring compliance with applicable NFPA standards.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on sprinkler experience, excellent customer service skills, and a current NICET Level II certification in Inspection and Testing of Water-Based Systems .

  • Perform scheduled fire sprinkler inspections and testing in accordance with NFPA 25 .
  • Handle service calls, troubleshooting, and repairs for existing customers.
  • Identify system deficiencies and complete or recommend necessary repairs.
  • Service and repair sprinkler heads, valves, piping, switches, gauges, and related components.
  • Perform fire pump testing when applicable.
  • Complete accurate inspection reports and service documentation.
  • Communicate findings and repair needs clearly with customers.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation as needed.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of fire sprinkler inspection, service, or repair experience.
  • Strong knowledge of NFPA 25.
  • Experience with wet and dry sprinkler systems; pre-action experience preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to work from ladders and lifts and lift up to 70 lbs.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
