Software Engineer Role Overview

As a senior full‑stack developer at Booz Allen, you will use your passion for technology to master new tools, identify system improvements, and help clients overcome their most difficult challenges. You will design and develop end‑to‑end solutions, ensuring they consider current architecture, operating environment, future functionality, and enhancements.

• Design and develop end‑to‑end full‑stack Java applications, including Spring Boot APIs and modern front‑end frameworks.
• Write source code for new applications and enhance existing code samples.
• Use back‑end and front‑end languages to build complete solutions.
• Identify and resolve complex cross‑domain issues, including application, database, network, and security.
• Employ the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies to improve system performance and functionality.
• Help clients overcome challenges using best practices and emerging technologies.

• 5+ years of experience designing and developing full‑stack Java applications, including Spring Boot, APIs, and modern front‑end frameworks.
• 5+ years of experience in software development with basic programming languages, technologies, tools, or web development stacks.
• Experience with Agile methodology, extreme programming, software engineering, product management, and software products.
• Experience writing source code for new applications or generating and enhancing code samples for existing applications.
• Experience using back‑end and front‑end languages to develop complete solutions.
• Experience troubleshooting and resolving complex cross‑domain issues, including application, database, network, and security.
• TS/SCI clearance.
• Bachelor's degree or 8+ years of experience in software engineering in lieu of a degree.

• Experience acquiring client requirements and resolving workflow problems through automation optimization.
• Experience with Java, Python, C#, C, C++, .NET, JavaScript, React, NodeJS, PHP, or Drupal.
• Experience integrating and managing HSMs for encryption, PKI, and secure key lifecycle.
• Experience architecting relational databases.
• Experience configuring and supporting network infrastructure, including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, or load balancing.
• Experience with Dev Sec Ops .
• Ability to work with automated testing tools to perform testing and maintenance.

The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $ (annualized USD). Salary will be determined by location, skill level, experience, and organizational requirements. The posting will close within 90 days from the posting date.
