Leidos Spatial Solutions Division offers a senior Software Developer opportunity to support NGA’s Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) mission by building and improving software that supports the collection, analysis, and visualization of three‑dimensional Earth‑based data. The role involves coding, integrating, and debugging software artifacts; writing validation tests; assisting with unit testing; and developing in Python, Java Spring, or related frameworks.

• Code, develop, integrate, and debug software artifacts.
• Write validation tests against existing baselines to ensure code integrity during Agile development.
• Create and maintain unit tests and CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop in Python, Java Spring, or other applicable frameworks.
• Perform other assigned tasks as directed.

• BS in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline with 8+ years of relevant experience, or a MS with 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Active Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility and ability to obtain a polygraph after hire.
• U.S. citizenship.
• Proactive self‑starter with excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience in software development or integration projects within a service‑oriented environment (Cloud, SOA, Web‑Services).
• Experience with GNU compilers.
• Programming experience in C++, Java, Type Script, and Bash.
• Experience developing in Spring/Gradle/OpenJDK, React/Node.
• Hands‑on experience with relational and non‑relational databases such as Amazon RDS and Postgres.
• Strong Python coding skills.
• Experience using Git Lab for version control, CI/CD pipelines, and resource management.
• Experience using Docker to package and run applications.
• Knowledge of web protocols and technologies (HTTP, SSL, web servers).
• Familiarity with AWS/Cloud technologies.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence.

• AWS certifications.
• Linux certifications.
• Experience with ArcGIS or other geospatial technologies.
