The Opportunity:Work independently and collaboratively with test engineers, Dev Ops teams, business analysts, and developers to review software design and requirements documentation to understand application functionality. Lead a team of test automation engineers, establish the test automation strategy, manage the automation framework, and oversee test plans, test case scripting, peer reviews, and test summary reports to ensure a successful release. Conduct manual and functional testing, and create automated test and performance scripts using Selenium or Rational tools, including Performance and Functional Tester.
Test key functionality, set up and verify data, and report results to management. Assume responsibility for client interaction during testing phases to communicate release defects and support UAT.
- Experience with manual functional, regression, usability, integration, remote access, and accessibility testing
- Experience developing scripts from scratch using Java, JavaScript, or Python, and building an automation framework from scratch
- Experience with Web services testing and developing scripts using web services tools
- Experience serving as SME in SQL, database, and back‑end testing
- Experience developing effort estimates, testing schedules, authoring test plans, test case scripting, and test summary reports for own and others’ work
- Experience testing in an Agile environment using JIRA, Confluence, and Zephyr Scale to develop and execute functional and regression scripts, manage requirements traceability, and defects
- Experience with Section 508 testing using tools such as JAWS, Sort Site, Dragon, WAVE, or Lighthouse
- Experience working with a client during User Acceptance Test sessions
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
- HS diploma or GED

Work Model- Remote – May require occasional in‑person work at a Booz Allen or customer facility.
- Hybrid – Expected to work from a Booz Allen facility frequently, with possible visits to a customer facility.
- Onsite – Primarily performed at a Booz Allen office or customer facility.
