Service Now Developer
As a low‑code/no‑code solution engineer at Booz Allen, you will develop and manage low‑code platforms to deliver user‑friendly solutions to clients, from vision through production. Your role involves leveraging cloud tools, automating and accelerating cloud modernization, and reducing system maintenance and development costs.
Key Responsibilities- Support the management of low‑code development platforms, driving projects from concept to production.
- Develop solutions using minimal coding, programming languages, and databases.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to automate cloud modernization initiatives.
- Act as a trusted advisor, translating client IT needs into architectural designs, design standards, and best practices.
- Contribute to software support activities to improve the digital environment.
- 2+ years of experience developing with web technologies (JavaScript, Ajax, HTML, CSS).
- Experience with Service Now development, including core ITSM tables, Glide scripting, business rules, client scripts, data imports, custom apps, and development methods.
- Experience implementing and integrating Service Now for ITSM and Software Asset Management in a government‑hosted Dev Sec Ops environment.
- API development experience, including REST architectures.
- Experience in extract, transform, load (ETL) processes to import data into Service Now.
- TS/SCI clearance (or the ability to obtain one).
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 or 8140 IAT LevelII Certification within 30 days of start date.
- UI/UX design experience.
- Linux operating systems, Amazon Web Services, shell scripting (Bash), and repository management (Git Lab or Git Hub).
- Front‑end framework knowledge.
- SQL experience.
- Agile and Scrum methodology experience and participation in the software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and management.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field.
- Service Now Certified System Admin (CSA) Certification.
Salary range: $69,400.00 to $ (annualized USD). Compensation is determined by factors such as location, education, skills, experience, and contractual requirements.
