Warehouse Person; Loader

Position Overview

PBNA $20.90 / hour

This labor-intensive position is responsible for hand building pallets of product for bulk and routing trucks. Each loading type requires strict attention to order accuracy with respect to loading outgoing trucks and unloading incoming trucks. The role uses an electronic order system or order sheets to build loads using a forklift and/or electronic pallet jack. The loader must maintain accuracy in loading and comply with shipper/receiver documentation, following warehouse instructions.

Employees are required to keep a clean and safe work environment and may work across a wide variety of weather conditions. Shift duration depends on workload and may vary daily.

The position involves transporting truck loading, bulk truck loading, and route truck loading, and includes unloading raw materials and returned products.

Daily duties require lifting a high volume of cases (20‑45 pounds per case) repeatedly, along with constant standing, walking, bending, twisting, squatting, reaching, and grasping.

• Operate power pallet jack or forklift to the picking area and build pallet/load according to load sheet or voice pick audio equipment
• Mark load ticket for out of stock items
• Wrap pallet when pallet/load is finished
• Submit paperwork with order for checking before loading and have truck checked
• Stage pallet and/or load into truck when ready
• Complete partial pallets and put away mixed pallets
• Maintain proper housekeeping standards in work area
• Maintain regular, reliable, predictable attendance

• 18 years or older

• Experience working in a warehouse environment (e.g., order selector/picking, product staging, powered pallet jack/forklifts)
• Experience operating a forklift (basic driving, lifting, lowering boom, maneuvering in tight areas)
• Experience with racking systems and loading/unloading pallets
• Experience working in a team environment (cooperation, joint problem solving)
